We had our brunch at this famous porridge stall that they said many local superstars including Andy Lau will drop by to eat too! Is located at some ulu ulu small street. We din know its existence till our hotel manager recommended us to try. Check out the food~

The ‘You Tiao’ taste great! Crispy and served hot! One big pc cost ard SG$1! But worth the money. Dip into the ‘tou jiang’ (warm soya milk) and taste like heaven. But after tt, I was too full for the porridge liao.

After lunch, we went to Big Buddha place. View from MTR..

Oo they have shops within the MTR cos unless sg, they have to walk quite a distance to cross over another platform to take another MTR line. Dar got this toys from their ‘mama shop’ .. (his lugguage has more toys than clothes..)

And my dear bought all of this.

Next stop - Po Lin Monastery to see the Giant Buddha at Tung Chung. We din know the Buddha is at some high mountain area, and is far from the Tung Chung MTR. The bus journey alone took us one hr to reach!

Shots taken from the bus. Can see a lot of mountain and the road is really steep and curvy. At certain area, the bus had to even stop just to let the opp direction vehicle to go pass first cos these roads built on these mountain area are too narrow for two big vehicles to pass.

Look at the mountain and u can imagine how cold the place is! We were at the bottom of the buddha but the place is still very windy and feel cold even with jacket on! Real shiock man.

The Giant Buddha

A friendly ang mo offer to help us take this pic. =)

Due to time constrain, (we din expect the bus journey for single trip to be tt long) we din had the chance to climb up the long stairs to the Buddha status as we had to rush to Disney and hotel to catch our flight at 8pm.

Next stop – Disneyland!

Trying very hard to act cute.

Woo cool train~ with Disney theme design.

Posing with the display inside the train. Heng there wasn’t much crowd, if not so paisei..

Tada~ here we are at the entrance. We din buy tickets to go in, jus hang ard outside to take a photo to mark ourselves as “we are here before” (dao ci yi you)

Oh ya, now they are having sum Halloween theme in Disney as well. They made this pumpkin into a mickey mouse, doesn’t look scarily at all hahaa

Doing stupid mickey mouse head to match the bg

A nice staff offered to help us take this time =)

Oo half way taking photos, we heard the Toot Toot sound from some way. Then we saw this train out of no where. Looks kinda cool to take a ride but too bad we din had the time.

From the journey back to hotel to grab our luggage to rush down to the airport, there were no pictures taken cos we were running like mad! No time to take pic hahaa Not wanting to waste my last chance to taste my favourite mango drink and mango pudding, we split up at the hotel area. I went back to carry our luggage down while dear ran to the small alley to grab another 2 cups of mango sago and pudding!

We heard going by express train is faster than cab. Thats y we changed our plan to take train instead of flagging a cab from hotel. Freaking $$.. one way transport per adult is $20! In sg, enuff for us to share cab go airport man..

Very heng, the moment we board the train, the door signal to close. If we missed this train, we gota wait another 12mins.. our flight is 8.40.. suppose to check in by 6.40 but we were still on our way ard 7pm lol

Damn tired after rushing here and there. We were sweating actually... took this photo like 5mins after we settled down in the train to catch our breathe. Hahaa forgot to take pic of my fav mango drink n pudding ..

Finally reach the airport! Had to transfer to terminal one by internal train.

Finally in the plane, PEwwewewewe!

Oo ya! After the long day, we realise we din had our lunch at all. End up we just whack the food on flight. This is the thai fish rice, cost $8 I think hahaa too hungry to care about the cost and quality.

Shrimp fried rice.. taste so so only..

To end this Hong Kong trip blog, I would like to say it's been great traveling overseas with my dear, we spend most of our time eating than shopping actually haha. Hope to travel more with her!. And thanks for reading, sorry for the delay.
